Data Deletion Policy

Girijee Tech Innovation Private Limited respects your right to control your personal data. This policy explains exactly how account and data deletion works on the MYDGID platform — including timelines, what gets deleted, and your recovery options.

1. Your Right to Delete

As a registered MYDGID user, you have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. No questions asked.

2. How to Request Deletion

From your Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your MYDGID dashboard
  2. Go to the Settings tab
  3. Scroll to the bottom — find Delete Account section
  4. Enter your registered email address to confirm your identity
  5. Click "Request Account Deletion"
  6. You will be logged out immediately and a confirmation email will be sent

Via Email: Send an email to support@mydgid.com from your registered email address with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request — [your username]"

3. Deletion Timeline

Immediately on Request
Your card is unpublished. Your profile is no longer visible to the public. You are logged out of your account.
Within 7 Days — Account Deleted
Your account is permanently deleted from our active systems. Login is no longer possible. Your username becomes available for re-registration.

Day 1–30 — Recovery Window
During this period, you can request account recovery by emailing support@mydgid.com. We will restore your account and all data upon identity verification.

After 30 Days — Permanent Erasure
All your data — card content, portfolio photos, videos, leads, analytics — is permanently and irreversibly erased from all our systems including backups. This cannot be undone.

Upon permanent deletion (after the 30-day recovery window), the following is completely erased:

Certain data must be retained after deletion for legal and regulatory compliance under Indian law:

6. Recovery Process

If you change your mind within the 30-day recovery window:

  1. Email support@mydgid.com from your registered email
  2. Subject: "Account Recovery Request — [your username]"
  3. We will verify your identity and restore your account within 2 business days
  4. All your card data, portfolio, and leads will be fully restored

Important: After 30 days from deletion, recovery is not possible under any circumstances. All data is permanently erased.

7. Search Engine Cache

If your MYDGID card was indexed by search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) before deletion, cached copies may remain in search results for a period after deletion. To remove cached pages:

MYDGID automatically removes your card URL from our sitemap.xml upon deletion, which signals search engines to de-index your page.

8. Third-Party Services

Deleting your MYDGID account does not automatically delete data you may have shared on third-party platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.). Please manage your data on those platforms separately.
